A Unique, Proven Approach to Promoting Reading Success

With the vision of helping every child become a reader, Reading BrightStart! specializes in developing research-based products, resources, and services to promote a strong reading foundation for children. Specifically, this includes unique and highly effective instructional curricula for infants through first grade, teacher training, and a literacy website for families to assist inclosing the reading readiness achievement gap for diverse young learners.

Level One

Our Level One curriculum is a research-based literacy supplement designed to be used in small groups to teach the foundations of early literacy to emergent readers.

Family Literacy Website

Children sitting in row and reading books at the parkOur website provides free tools and resources to help prepare children (ages birth to 5 years) for reading success from day one. The family friendly content includes at-home activities, book recommendations and articles for parents. It also features a free Preschool Reading Screener for families of 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds to check for reading readiness skills and assist in keeping their child’s literacy skills on track.
